I don’t know who coined the phrase “baby soft” but there’s a strong possibility they had a seven week old in their home at the time.
While Fox, my seven week old, is napping, I often touch his delicate skin or stroke his hair. How could I not? Babies have such smooth skin and look so sweet as they sleep.
But there are times when he’s cranky and bath time is the only way to comfort him.
Since baby skin is sensitive, I opt for fragrance free products so he isn’t irritated. One of the brands our rock star pediatrician recommended for Fox’s older siblings is Aquaphor.
And so when BabyCenter sent me Aquaphor Baby Gentle Wash and Shampoo and Healing Ointment for review I had no problem using them on Fox.
The Aquaphor Baby Gentle Wash and Shampoo has a smell that’s not overwhelming. I also like that its a space saver — no need for separate bottles of baby wash and shampoo — making it a great 2 in 1 skincare choice for his bath time.
The Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment is being used on the infant acne that’s appeared on his cheeks making them feel really dry. I can’t wait until it restores his cheeks back to smooth.
